DECEMBER 2008:

Saturday Heidi finished the last of holiday decorating and put some lights in the trees outside.

Saturday Dave installed a ceiling fan light and put more Christmas tree lights in the tree outside. Heidi built a SpongeBob gingerbread house, while Hunter had fun playing Half-Life on the computer.

Sunday we took some time to take family pictures so we could order our Christmas cards.

Allie & Lily are all grown up now, so we've added a few new pictures of the two of them. Sunday night we took a drive to Rohnert Park to look at Christmas lights.

Hunter spent all morning opening gifts Christmas day. Then we took hours unpacking toys, playing, and cleaning up!

JANUARY 2009:

Satuurday was a nice sunny day, and perfect for a drive to the Jelly Belly Factory. Sunday Dave went to watch Peter's RC Club have some fun at Santa Rosa Creek.

We've started spring cleaning outside by pressure washing the patio. We all enjoyed the beautiful spring weather, and are seeing signs of spring already.

APRIL 2009:

Sunday Hunter had fun doing his Easter Egg hunt, then he helped Dave plant the vegetable garden. Heidi and Ryder spent some time outside watching Dave and Hunter work.

We've updated our online DVD database again, and added 7 new DVDs.

Dave took some time this weekend to build a target for shooting practice.

Sunday we all had a blast at Olivia & AJ's birthday party. We also picked up some new couches on the way home!

Sunday we went to the pet store and set Hunter up with some hermit crabs!

We've added 7 new DVDs to our online DVD Database.

We both had Monday off, so we spent Monday morning at Fort Point in San Francisco.

Sunday was a perfect morning to let the kid's play at Willard Libbey park.

SEPTEMBER 2009:

Monday night Heidi got an early start on Halloween decorating and set up the Halloween Village.

We've updated our online DVD database and added 25 new DVDs!

Sunday we took a drive to Cow Mountain for Dave to play paintball and shoot his new guns.

FEBRUARY 2010:

Sunday Dave and Hunter spend some time weeding and planing this year's vegetable garden.

We've updated our Recreation page and added several new links.

4/13/11:
It was a little cold and windy, but the sun stayed out for Hunter's T-Ball practice Wednesday night.

4/16/11-4/17/11:
It was a gorgeous afternoon for Hunter's T-Ball game against the Giants. The boys had fun afterwards playing games and riding the race cars at Scandia.

Sunday Dave and Hunter went on a walk exploring while mom and Ryder went shopping.

The sun came out Thursday for our play date at the park with Jessica, Shelly and Amanda.

It was gloomy Saturday morning, but at least we didn't have rain for Hunter's fourth T-ball game.

We got lucky Easter morning with just a little drizzle for the boys while they did their Easter egg hunt.

Hunter & Ryder are making so many new friends at our weekly park play date!

Another gorgeous spring day for Hunter's Bat-a-Thon. Afterwards, the boys had fun at Scandia on the race cars and bumper boats.

Perfect T-ball weather for Hunter's game against the Red Sox tonight.

Hunter is just getting over a cold, but that didn't stop him from making his T-Ball game against the A's this afternoon.

It was windy at Infineon Raceway today, but we still had fun watching the AFA motorcycle races.

Our friend Jessica and her kids came to watch Hunter's T-Ball game tonight. The weather was nice and we all had a great time!

It was pretty chilly at the T-Ball game today, but we had fun watching and Hunter made an awesome hit!

It was a busy day! Hunter gave his presentation for his school project fair this morning. In the afternoon, we met at the park for our weekly play date. Afterwards, we were off to Hunter's T-Ball game against the Padres.

Even though it was a rainy weekend, Dave still went to Cow Mountain Saturday morning. Sunday he pressure washed the patio, and grilled Inside-Out Bacon Cheeseburgers for dinner!

It was a busy evening with Hunter's last T-Ball game of the season, followed by a party at Chevy's!

It was perfect weather for camping in Cloverdale this weekend!

Hunter's first year of T-Ball has officially come to an end with the Closing Ceremonies today.

Hunter's long-time friend, Ailey, turned 5 today! We all enjoyed her birthday party at Dorotea Park today.

It was a beautiful summer night to sit in the back of the truck and watch the Analy High School fireworks display in Sebastopol.

We went to Rohnert Park to set off our own fireworks for Fourth of July!

It was a hot day in Willows for Mark's 60th birthday!

We found a huge California Alligator Lizard today and decided to keep it as a pet!

We decided to try making jam this year using the plums from our tree. It came out delicious!

Hunter is starting his second season of soccer! He had his first practice tonight at Summerfield Waldorf School.

The fog came in and the weather cooled off for Hunter's game this morning, but it was still warm enough for Dave to finish painting and assembling his targets.

We had a full Saturday with Hunter's soccer game at 9am, then a drive to Petaluma for a walk around Schollenberger Park.
Sunday we decided to go to Home Depot and pick up some vegetables for a winter garden. We also grabbed some ingredients to make homemade lasagna for dinner.

Hunter's second year of soccer is over. He played his last two games at Ragle Ranch Park for the Harvest Cup Tournament.

We all had fun today at the Adobe Pumpkin Patch with Natalie, Peter & the kids.

Heidi braved the cold garage tonight to organize the bins of gift wrapping supplies. Now we have a nicely-organized gift wrap station for the holidays!

The weather was absolutely gorgeous Saturday for Ryder's birthday party. Sunday, we had fun watching the Super Bowl at Tanya & Ken's house.

We are hoping to get a lot accoplished over the 3-day weekend! Saturday we went on a tour at the Wildlife Rescue. Sunday, Heidi built a new cabinet for the guest bathroom. Heidi also bought a lot of flowers to plant tomorrow if it doesn't rain!

The gorgeous weather continued this weekend for Dave and Jim to go shooting at Cow Mountain Saturday morning.

Hunter had his first baseball practice this evening. It was absolutely freezing in the wind! Hope it is warmer this weekend...

Spring break started this week! Heidi found a delicious recipe for Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip muffins to make a special treat for the boys.

The rain finally stopped today for Hunter to have another baseball practice!

Heidi got ambitious this week and did some painting downstairs!

It was raining Saturday so Hunter had baseball practice at RBI Batting Cages. We still had rain Sunday, but Daved managed to pressure wash the flagstone patio.

This was one of Hunter's last soccer games today and they won 5-2!

The fall weather is starting to kick in. It was chilly and windy at Hunter's soccer practice tonight -- and almost dark when it was over!

Hunter's soccer team won their last game and have a 9-1 record. They won 1st place in the league for their division!

We had a full weekend of soccer with 2 games Saturday and 2 games Sunday. The Wizards won the Harvest Cup championship!

Hunter and Ryder got to get dressed up for the soccer awards ceremony tonight. We received Hunter's soccer pictures at the party too.

We had a full day Saturday shooting at Cow Mountain and playing with the boys at Lakeside Park. We had fun at the Stony Point Pumpkin Patch with the kids on Sunday.

We had a little pre-Halloween fun tonight with Natalie & Peter and the kids!

The Christmas presents are starting to show up, so we set up Ryder's little tree so they have a place to go until the big tree goes up. We set up the gift wrap station in the garage so we are all ready!

We started the weekend off with a birthday party at the Schiller's house for Rylan's 4th birthday!

11/15/12:
Heidi finished Hunter's Christmas tree today. Now we just have the big tree left to decorate -- and all the other Christmas stuff to put out.

The big Christmas tree is done, and the inside of the house is completely decked out for Christmas!

Thanksgiving dinner turned out great!

Hunter and Ryder had fun coloring Easter eggs today. We also got lucky with no rain for our late afternoon walk at Helen Putnam Park in Petaluma.

Hunter got in some good batting practice with his team at RBI batting cages today. Their first game is just a little over a week away!

It sure was oooler today, but we met some friends at Ragle Ranch Park for some morning exercise.

Tonight was the last game of the season for the Rookie A's. They won again and ended the season 15-2!

We spent the afternoon at Hunter's closing ceremonies for Westside Little Leage. It is a little sad that baseball is over, but next year will be here soon enough!

We officially ended the soccer season tonight with Hunter's end-of-season party. Hunter had fun with his teammates one more time, and he is looking forward to next season!

It was a beautiful day for our annual Tree Farm visits in Sebastopol with our good friends.

The sunshine is back and it was beautiful on Taylor Mountain today -- just a little muddy!

Hunter had his first baseball practice tonight. This is his first year in the Minors division..

We had a full day hiking at Taylor Mountain, and Dave installed a new wall mount for the new TV.

We had a very full weekend with Hunter playing two games Saturday and Ryder playing one game in the Harvest Cup Tournament. We were back at early Sunday morning for Hunter's third game. We took advantage of the free afternoon to take Halloween pics of the kids at the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetary.

We know it's not even Thanskgiving yet, but there is a lot of Christmas decorating to be done. We got a little jumpstart doing Ryder's tree Saturday. Sunday was perfect for a hike at Helen Putnam Park in Petaluma.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and we'll do the Christmas tree over the weekend. Until then, we've put out most of the Christmas decorations and finished Hunter's tree.

The gift wrapping station is set up in the garage -- bring on the Amazon shipments!

We took advantage of the dry weather and spent Saturday afternoon in Sausalito and Marin Headlands. Sunday, Dave spent some time doing trail work at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park.

The boys had fun making Christmas crafts and helping mom with the gingerbread house tonight.

The food was great and we had a lot of fun at Dave's company Christmas party at the Hilton tonight!

We had a break from the rain Saturday and took family pictures at Sonoma State University. Sunday we visited Christmas Tree Grove in Windsor and enjoyed seeing all the cute trees!

We decided to get a Christmas tree to put in the Gazebo, so we picked one up at Home Depot tonight. It looks great!

It's been another busy weekend with Dave's trail work at Annadel Saturday, and a visit to the Christmas tree farms Sunday.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous for Dave's run at Marin Headlands today. We had a great time in the evening with a get-together at our house.

We had a great Christmas Eve and Christmas with the boys. Friday was a beautiful day, so we took a drive to the Point Reyes National Seashore.

We are enjoying our fun time while Dave is still off work. Sunday Dave volunteered for trail work at Taylor Mountain, then we went on a hike at Riverfront Regional Park. Sunday we visited Veteran's Memorial Beach in Healdsburg, then went for a walk at Foothills Regional Park in Windsor.

The Sonoma County weather has been gorgeous and great for getting outside! We took a walk at Spring Lake on New Year's Day, and Laguna de Santa Rosa trail on Friday.

Heidi and the boys watched a great performance of Nightmare Before the Nutcracker at Spreckels Performing Arts Saturday night. Sunday, we took a walk at Tolay Lake Regional Park.

We took a drive to the coast today to visit Jim & Rosie at Doran Beach campground. We had lunch at the Tides Wharf, and played around on Doran Beach after our visit.

Hunter had a fun afternoon at Sonoma State University Baseball Camp today!

It looked like rain today, but the weather held up well enough for us to enjoy a bike ride on the Joe Rodota Trail.

It was kind of a sad day to see Hunter's last Yankees practice this season! Last game tomorrow!

The Yankees played their last game of the season against the Cubs tonight and won 9-4! It was a great game with almost everyone on the team hitting tonight! They had a Pizza Party after to celebrate. Meanwhile, Dave was with Ryder at his last game -- where Ryder hit every time and was awsesome!

Dave finally had a Saturday morning free of baseball games so he could volunteer for trail work at Sugarloaf State Park this morning.

It was HOT today! We took a drive to Sunset Beach Park on the Russian River, then off to Round Table for Ryder's Rookie Orioles pizza party.

It was a crazt weekend with the Harvest Cup Soccer Tournament! Hunter and Ryder each had two games Saturday, and Ryder's team had a potluck after the last game. Hunter's team had two more games on Sunday. We also got soccer pictures back for Hunter and Ryder.

The boys had a blast with friends coming over Friday night. Saturday, we visited the Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch. We all got up really early to watch Dave's Cloverdale Harvest Half Marathon Saturday, then Hunter went to RBI batting cages with a friend.

The boys had their picture day at school today. We had fun watching Hunter play baseball in the evening for his friend's Fall Ball scrimmage game.

We had a fun New Year's Eve at home watching movies and doing sparklers with the kids. Hello 2016!

January 2016:

The rain stopped and the sun came out for a great hike at Annadel & Lake Ilsanjo this morning. The boys had fun with a friend at RBI Batting Cages in the afternoon.

We took advantage of the sunshine today and went for a quick hike at Taylor Mountain.

Another raining day...but the boys had fun with a friend at our house.

1/23/16:
We've decided to tear up the lawn in the front yard to do drought-tolerant landscape. Dave started a small section this weekend.

It was a beautiful winter day for a walk at Spring Lake.

We took advantage of the warm weather with another hike at Taylor Mountain this afternoon.

Hard to believe Ryder is 7 today! We celebrated with dinner at Chili's and birthday cake!

It was fun watching Hunter at baseball tryouts this morning. Later, we had a fun time celebrating Ryder's birthday with friends.

This afternoon was day two of Hunter's baseball tryouts. Can't wait until baseball season!

Couldn't ask for more perfect weather this weekend! We enjoyed it with a hike at Shiloh Regional Park Saturday, and walk at Spring Lake Sunday.

The boys had a blast at the Steelhead Festival this weekend...Hunter even caught his very first fish!

Baseball season is almost here! Hunter's Major Yankees team kicked off the season with a pizza party at Mountain Mike's tonight.

The fields are wet from all the rain, so Hunter's baseball practice was at RBI Batting Cages tonight...

Hunter is still not 100% after his cold, but he made it to his first Major Yankees baseball practice today.

Practice was rained out again, so Major Yankees got in some batting practicec at RBI.

It was pretty stormy today, but we took I drive up north to visit Dave's family in Willows.

It was night of double baseball practices with Hunter's Major Yankees practice, and Ryder's first practice with the Rookie Red Sox.

3/12/16-3/13-16:
Dave headed to Marin before 3am this morning to volunteer at the Marin Ultra Challenge. Meanwhile, Hunter's Major Yankees team helped train the t-ball players at T-Ball Training Day. Sunday, Dave and Hunter ran the St. Patrick's Day 5K!

Ryder had his second practice on the Rookie Red Sox tonight.

3/16/16:
Hunter's Major Yankees practice was rescheduled for tonight. It makes for some pretty chilly evenings!

Another busy night of practices for Hunter and Ryder.

Saturday was a full day with Dave helping out for Field Maintenance Day, then pictures in the mustard fields on our way to Hood Mountain Regional Park.

It was a gorgeous spring weekend for! Ryder had baseball practice Saturday morning, followed by Hunter's in the afternoon. Sunday, the kids had funt doing an Easter egg hunt in the back yard, then we took a walk at Riverfront Regional Park.

Hunter and Ryder had International Day at school today. Another practice for the Rookie Red Sox in the evening. Their first game is April 7th!

It was a whirlwind of a weekend! Dave had the Annadel Half Marathon Saturday morning. Afterwards, we had to race to WSLL Opening Ceremonies for the boys, followed by the Major Yankees game! Sunday Hunter and Dave got dirty in the Russian River Mud Run!

We got lucky tonight with Ryder's practice being at the same time and place as Hunter's game. The Yankees won, and we got to watch Ryder's Red Sox practice.

It was an exciting evening for Heidi's nephew, Tyler. He graduated from Santa Rosa High School!

Another big day for baseball games! Ryder's team won their first tournament game, and Hunter's team won their last regular season game!

Tonight Ryder's team won their SECOND tournament game! Hunter's team won their first tournament game and will be in the playoffs!

It was a gorgeous day for a visit to Paradise Ridge Winery to look at the garden sculptures.

We got an early start on Fourth of July fun! We ran the Kenwood Footrace at 7:30 in the morning, and set off fireworks with friends in Rohnert Park in the evening.

7/6/16:
Hunter's good friend Diego came over this afternoon, then we took a drive to Petaluma to watch the WSLL All-Stars vs. Petaluma National!

7/8/16:
Hunter didn't have a party for his 12th birthday, so he invited some of his friends to get together at Laser Tag of Santa Rosa.

We stayed home this weekend to get a lot done! We finally started on the frontyard lascape since we removed the lawn earlier this year. We also picked up some new mattresses for Hunter and moved Hunter's mattress into Ryder's room so both boys have better beds...photos coming soon.

We took a drive up north today for a BBQ in Willows with Dave's family.

I am incredibly behind on updating the website due to juggling two teenage boys and my freelance work! I FINALLY updated pics for Hunter and Ryder from last year! I didn't take nearly as many photos as I used to, but it is still crazy to see how they change over the year.

Spring is officially here and I have been sprucing up things here and there with some new bath tub accessories, and also made a cute driftwood airplant stand.

Getting started on Hunter's room makeover with a new ceiling fan installation. Also refinished Hunter's dresser!
